I received an appreciation plaque for my long years of service and dedication to ASTM C11. The overall committee of C11 deals with all elements of the stucco wall including gypsum plaster and board, portland cement stucco, metal lath and all of its various components. This committee deals with products, installation methods and testing. These specifications and standards are listed in every model building code currently in use in the United States.

In 1996 Construction Dimensions Magazine (published by AWCI) published the article entitled “Expanded Metal Lath Installation for the Application of Portland Cement Stucco, The Eight Deadly Sins.” This was a two-part article, which was well received by the stucco industry. The Association of Walls and Ceiling Industries International subsequently republished these articles as a single stand alone document for industry distribution.
